In Dang Tu, An Hui Province

Dang Tu is a really small town that is rapidly developing. Bill said every small town in China is like Dang Tu. It's all dusty because of the construction sites. It's so small that everyone knows each other. Bill's family is like everywhere in the town~

Beds in bus?

The beds in the bus.

Ground floor?

Having fun taking pictures coz it's new to us!

I sleep here.

It's really hard to sleep on this kind of bed..

Amanda, a Chinese Volunteer
Now this is something really new. When the Chinese volunteers said it'll be 10 hours journey from Wuhan City to Dang Tu, a small village, in a bus that has beds, it was unbelievable to me. But it was true!! The bus has about 30 beds!!!!!!We take the bus at 7pm and we reach Ma An Shan at 5am, then another 1 hour bus to Dang Tu.

At Ma An Shan,

This is the toilet... It's just like a drain and you squat on top of it.. This is the normal toilet in bus stations, train stations.

A really nice dumpling shop outside of bus station.

It's nice and oily

It's really early in the morning, 5am and they already started working!

They are really friendly to foreigners. They even gave 2 free dumplings to Anna and Joanna~

Bought by Bill. It is milk + juice. It's really tasty!

They are really diligent.

A random cute dog on the streets

Super old bus. The back window is covered with dust!!
